It's been one year since Jordan White stood in Union Square in the pouring rain and seventy people braved bad weather to meet other fellow Nintendo 3DS owners for the first time. From a walk against AIDS to an amazing E3 at the Nintendo World Store, to a Tanooki Suit Riot, Bomb Pillows, Zelda Trivia, Next Level Arcade and a Uprising...we have had one amazing year!
That is why we are going to kick off this week to celebrate our One Year Anniversary starting where it all began: in Union Square on April 16th! Specifically right in front of the George Washington statue!
We have extended the date into the late afternoon due to the fact it's a Monday. No fancy cakes (though we may have doughnuts) or shirts or naked women...just us StreetPass NYC members and Nintendo 3DS owners enjoying the bright cheery sun and reminiscing on good times.
We also have some amazing announcements to make at the event. The earlier you can come the better!
NOTE: If something goes wrong like a sudden rain storm, we get kicked off the property for no reason or it gets so hot that it's humanly unfit to be outside...if you do not see a StreetPass NYC Flag or people, we will be inside the GameStop in Union Square at 32 E 14Th Street.
